INTRODUCTION

Our client is a reputable football club currently featuring in the Tanzania Football Premier League if looking for a highly motivated and competent individual to fill for the position of "Finance Manager".

The position reports to the Club President/CEO and is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the club.

PURPOSE

To facilitate sound financial planning for the club and put in place controls to ensure financial and other resources of the club are managed effectively to achieve the clubs strategic goals.


QUALIFICATIONS
Academic Qualification:
  • A bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business related field
    • Professional Qualification:
    • CPA (T) or equivalent certification
      • EXPERIENCE:

      At least five years in preparing and executing plans & budgets, handling payroll, preparing financial reports/statements (IFRS), managing creditors & creditors, developing financial policies, systems & procedures, managing suppliers & vendors, dealing with auditors regulatory authorities and managing a finance & administration function.

      SKILLS:
      • Leadership
      • Strategic planning & execution
      • Financial analysis
      • Reporting and negotiation.
      • Must be comfortable using accounting software and Ms. Excel.
